The Nest Cafe is at 58 Canton Street. Minnie Olivia Pizzeria is at 10 Roswell Street, Suite 120, in Historic Alpharetta. Lily Sushi Bar is at 220 S. Main Street in Alpharetta. All three are named in Medley's tenant lineup at Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road.
Medley scheduled its public ribbon cutting for 10 a.m. on Oct. 29 in The Plaza and said shops and restaurants would open in stages over the following weeks. The pattern in the lineup is clear. The North Atlanta Star's Oct. 24 roundup lists 35 businesses. Many of them are North Fulton names Johns Creek already knows from Canton Street and Heritage Walk, and most of the intown Atlanta restaurants are in the later group.
The Alpharetta and Milton addresses behind Medley's lineup
Here are the North Fulton businesses opening their second, or in some cases third, location at Medley, and where they already operate.
| Business | What it is | Where it already operates |

| Lily Sushi Bar | Sit-down sushi and Japanese cooking | 220 S. Main St., Alpharetta, and 1865 Heritage Walk, Milton |
| The Nest Cafe | Coffee, breakfast and lunch | 58 Canton St., Alpharetta, and 1845 Heritage Walk, Milton |
| Minnie Olivia Pizzeria | Wood-fired Neo-Neapolitan pizza | 10 Roswell St., Suite 120, Historic Alpharetta |

| Moop's Boutique | European-inspired clothing and accessories | Downtown Alpharetta, nearly two decades |
| CRÚ Wine Bar & Bistro | Wine flights with a full food menu | Avalon and The Battery |
| 13 Hub Lane | Furniture, home goods, clothing, design help | Roswell and East Cobb |
The North Atlanta Star roundup reports that Knuckies Eatery, which already serves hoagies and cheesesteaks, is adding chef-developed dishes, house-made sauces and rotating brunch items at Medley, along with "dirty sodas" that mix fountain drinks with flavored syrups and cream. The same roundup reports that Moop's owner, Carolyn Gordon, is opening a shop of roughly 990 square feet, and that chef Julio Delgado is bringing two concepts, Fogón and Lions and Minnie Olivia, to the district.
The opening-week list pairs familiar names with first-time arrivals
The businesses announced for the Oct. 29 debut put the North Fulton expansions next to brands that are new to Johns Creek or new to Georgia.
On the familiar side were Rena's, Lily Sushi Bar under owner Susan Vuong, The Nest Cafe and Knuckies. Johns Creek Now's visitor guide, updated Oct. 24, lists The Nest's hours at Medley as 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Summit Coffee is listed at 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The newcomers on the list:
- STIR is opening its first Georgia location facing The Plaza, according to the North Atlanta Star and The Johns Creek Magazine. It has an oyster and cold bar, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, and cuts its cocktail ice from 300-pound blocks. Tonic House, the cocktail lounge next door, has its own bar and patio for anyone who wants a drink without taking a dining-room table.
- Summit Coffee, a North Carolina roaster, serves pastries, wine and beer along with specialty coffee.
- Five Daughters Bakery comes from Tennessee and makes 100-layer laminated doughnuts. Cookie Fix started in Homewood, Alabama, in 2016 and sells frozen dough as well as baked cookies. Amorino Gelato and Playa Bowls round out the dessert stops.
- Shake Shack announced a 10 a.m. opening on Oct. 30 at 2100 Medley Boulevard, its 11th location in Georgia.
Retail follows the same mix. Moop's was listed for an Oct. 29 opening. High Country Outfitters brings Atlanta roots that go back to 1975. The most local opening of all is Hollow Oak. Johns Creek native Katie Bossie is opening her first store there, selling books, stationery, art and home goods, with room for classes and community events. BODYROK's Pilates-inspired reformer studio was also announced for Oct. 29.
Trader Joe's isn't new this fall. It opened June 11, months before the ribbon cutting.
The intown Atlanta restaurants are still on the way
The second half of Medley's restaurant lineup leans toward intown Atlanta, and as of the Oct. 24 roundup, none of those restaurants had a specific opening date.
- Tabla is opening its first suburban location after its Atlanta restaurants. It plans an indoor-outdoor bar and weekend street food beside The Plaza.
- Fadó Irish Pub will be the brand's third Atlanta-area pub, after Buckhead and Midtown, with a scratch kitchen and plenty of soccer on the screens.
- Northern China Eatery is a name Buford Highway diners know, built around handmade dumplings and soup dumplings.
- 26 Thai Kitchen & Bar comes from founder Niki Pattharakositkul's Atlanta restaurant group. In 2024 its flagship was in Lindbergh, with full-service locations in Midtown, Brookhaven and Dunwoody, according to What Now Atlanta.
- CT Cantina & Taqueria is planning a bigger cocktail menu and a walk-up window for ordering without a sit-down meal.
Fogón and Lions, Minnie Olivia and CRÚ are also in this later group. The timing moved for some of them. A September North Atlanta Star story put 26 Thai, CRÚ and Minnie Olivia in the Oct. 29 dining lineup. The Oct. 24 roundup moved all three to the later arrivals and warned that individual dates may change.
Warby Parker, with eye exams at 4100 Medley Boulevard, and Petfolk, a veterinary clinic for dogs and cats at 4195 Medley Boulevard, add some everyday errands to the district.
November's calendar, across Medley, The Boardwalk and beyond
Medley isn't the only Johns Creek address with plans this month. Here are the dates through Thanksgiving week.
- Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 to 10 a.m. Honoring Our Veterans at the Veterans Memorial Walk inside Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road.
- Saturday, Nov. 7, 4 to 8 p.m. The city's free Diwali Celebration at The Boardwalk at Town Center, 11362 Lakefield Drive, with a drone and light show at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 14, 3 to 7 p.m. The 2026 Johns Creek Literary Fair, headlined by author Ariel Lawhon and held at a new venue this year, Johns Creek United Methodist Church at 11180 Medlock Bridge Road.
- Friday, Nov. 27, from 4 p.m. Merry Medley, with a holiday concert, performances, fireworks and the opening of the ice rink.
Medley's own listing puts Skate the Plaza at Nov. 27, running through February, and Johns Creek Now gives the season as Nov. 27 through Feb. 7, 2027. An October calendar in The Johns Creek Magazine gave Nov. 23 as the start date, so check Medley's page before planning an early skate.
Two venues host events on Nov. 7 and Nov. 27. The Boardwalk takes the Diwali evening, and Medley's Plaza takes Thanksgiving weekend.
Getting in and parking
Medley's parking page puts the self-parking deck and surface lots on the north side of the property. Valet costs $12 per car near Concierge. The page doesn't say whether self-parking is free. Hours vary by tenant, so a 3 p.m. lunch at The Nest and an evening cocktail at Tonic House may mean two separate trips.
New openings near your home can change how buyers see your neighborhood, and seeing that clearly takes current local data.
